Slowly Heat Peanut oil in large skillet
Cube Halibut into 2 inch thick pieces
Dredge in batter:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 ½ cup very cold water
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- Pepper/Salt ( zealous pinches)
If you do not have cold water available, put batter into fridge for some time, maybe a couple of hours before frying fish or make batter before you go fishing with Alaska Arctic Sun..
Fry fish. Make sure oil is hot enough. You don’t want soggy fish!
Cut potatoes, thick like steak fries.
Fry and salt to taste.
