- 4 6-ounce pieces salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2-4 tablespoons maple syrup
Preheat the grill to medium heat. In a bowl combine the paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, cumin and salt. Make sure the fillets are dry. Rub the seasoning mixture onto the salmon fillets. Lightly oil the grill rack and place the salmon directly on the grill rack with skin side down, and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Drizzle the maple syrup on the fillets and cook and additional 1 or 2 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.
